Group Description:

This group will look at the very beginning of the Christian faith by studying the Acts of the Apostles. Acts shows us how faith changed the lives of ordinary men to become leaders—men like Peter, Stephen, Philip, John, James, and Paul. Acts describes the growing pains of a new religion (or a new way of looking at an old religion) by showing us how God used these men called to follow Jesus to spread the Gospel throughout the Roman Empire, how conflicts arose and were resolved, and how these men kept their faith through triumphs and adversity. Join us on this exciting journey as we study the actions of the men who literally “turned the world upside down” (Acts 17:6).
